The Experience

Whether this is your first time hiring a photographer or not I think it's important for you to know what you're getting into. I want you to be sure that we are a good fit for one another. I want you to be certain that the experience I can give you will be everything you want and more.

I focus on the real moments. I am not going to make you stand in front of the perfect sunset and stare at me awkwardly half smiling for 2 minutes straight. There will be no cheesy shit that makes you (or me) uncomfortable. We are going to create together. If you are looking for someone to show up and get the "perfect" shot, we are probably not a good fit for each other. I am going to capture the real smiles, laughs and connection.

You're not just hiring me to do a job for you. I want to know you. I want to be friends. I want to know what makes you belly laugh until you're crying. I want to create together and not just "take your photos". Connection is huge. Most people beforehand tell me, "sorry we're awkward," buttttt by the end of the session they are telling me how easy and natural it felt (yes, even the guys ;)). I am not sure when/where or why the stigma that getting photos taken is a dreadful event but I'm here to assure its not, I promise you'll have a damn good time.

Everyone has a budget, and that is totally understandable, however, I want to be more than a photographer for you. You may not see it right now, but in 10, 20 or even 30 years, these photos will be all you have from this stage of life. INVEST IN IT. Photographs increase in value over time as they get passed down generations. One of my most vivid memories from being young is looking through the crap load of photo albums that my mom has. Heck, I still look through them.

Whatever you are wanting documented, I am here for it. I am here to CREATE with you. Want to do a session at an amusement park? Let's go. Want to get married in a black wedding dress on top of a mountain? I'm there. Let's break away from the pressures of having everyone wearing the perfect matching outfits and smiling at the camera. Let's make something different. Art. Your art.

I believe love is love. I aim to connect and create with every individual who feels drawn to me and my work. No matter what your love looks like, I am here to document it.
